I’ll be vending inside the west elm store at Culver Road Armory for the fourth time this June! Collectively we’ll be raising money for the Trevor Project.

Ready to silence your inner critic and play with color? Unlike painting a portrait or a landscape, abstract art is about capturing a feeling, a thought, or something you can't quite put into words. This class will show you how, whether you've never touched a brush or just want to deepen your practice. Through a fun, repeatable process, you'll choose your own color palette, build a composition, and experiment with mixed media—with a deck of playful "cheat codes" to spark your creativity whenever you get stuck. There's no wrong way to make abstract art, and you'll leave with proof: a finished acrylic painting on canvas, ready to hang, all materials included, and a creative process that turns a blank canvas from intimidating to exciting.

I’m excited to be returning to the Park Avenue Summer Stroll for the second year! Vendors will be set up behind the Rochester Museum and Science Center in their large green space.
